Para Triathlon Training

  • 25th February 2018 at 8:30am
  • The Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey (Get Directions)

Para Triathlon has an exciting year ahead in Northern Ireland having been introduced to the Commonwealth Games for the first time with David Kerr being selected to represent Northern Ireland.

To continue developing talent, Triathlon Ireland offer monthly coaching training sessions to all athletes with a disability specifically for wheelchair users and people with Cerebral Palsy, lower and upper amputee, and people with sight loss. CLICK HERE for further information on classification.

This is a great opportunity for athletes to have fun, develop new skills and push their body to new limits under the watchful eye of a trained team of coaches, handlers and support crew. They also offer support outside this coached environment and regularly meet at races around Ireland. This session is aimed at people of all ages no matter what your level and age.

With the introduction of their new hub in The Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey, it has offered athletes a place to train, meet like-minded people and develop at their pace. The next training date will take place on the 25th February 2018 from 8.30am - 1.00pm.

Please email eamonn@triathlonIreland.com for any additional information or contact Paul Strange Head Para Triathlon Coach on 00447546936015.
