Job Opportunity - HUB Activity Leader (Derry and Causeway areas)

Disability Sport NI is the main disability sports charity in Northern Ireland working to improve the health and wellbeing of disabled people through sport and active recreation. We are currently recruiting for the following post:

Position:              Hub Activity Leader 

Location:              Derry & Causeway areas

Salary:                  Salary NJC Scale 3, Point 6 (£19,698) pro rata for 22.5hrs part-time

Hours:                 Part-time – 22.5hrs per week

Core workdays: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (may be asked to work outside of these days)

Duration:              Expected to be until 30th September 2022 (Subject to funding) 

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a range of inclusive sport and active recreation sessions. This will involve working to a programmed timetable which will be organised by one of Disability Sport NI’s Regional Development Officers.

The activity sessions will be delivered to a range of disabled people and those with long term health conditions, both adults and children, from disability groups, adult centres, community groups, schools and health trusts.
