GAA Ulster Hurling Project wins National Lottery Sports Community Project Award

Congratulations to Shane McCann and the team behind the Ulster GAA’s Wheelchair Hurling project who were honoured as the Public’s Favourite Sports Community Project at the National Lottery Awards.

This is a fantastic achievement and follows a lot of great work from Ulster GAA this year to develop a range of disability sports opportunities. Ulster GAA are currently working towards our Inclusive Sport Award for Governing Bodies of Sport who make a commitment to creating an inclusive sporting environment for people with a disability.
