Having been spotted by Boccia UK at the 2014 UK Championships, it’s an event in the boccia calendar that holds a special place in Claire Taggart’s boccia journey. Speaking ahead of this year’s championships, Claire comments,

“I very much look forward to both competing in the UK Boccia Championships in Swansea and cheering on my fellow squad member Daniel as he represents his country for the first time at the UK Championships.

“It has been a strong year for me so far having won 2 gold medals in Póvoa and a bronze medal in Rome, and I will be focused on retaining my title of UK champion.”
