Cycling Opportunities across NI

Adaptive Bike Hire Scheme & All Out Trekking.

With the great weather approaching, we are delighted to announce numerous cycling schemes across NI. Belfast Inclusive Bike ire scheme is the latest adaptive bike hire scheme delivered by local district councils launching this Summer. The hire schemes aim to allow participants to avail of a range of adaptative cycles provided to local councils through the District Council Disability Sport Hubs project provided by Department for Communities and Sport NI. There is a range adaptative bikes available to hire including tandems, handcycles and trikes (for full list of bikes click here)

In addition the ever-popular All Out Trekking is back this summer in Gosford Forest Park. All Out Trekking is an inclusive outdoor experience that allows people to access the walking and mountain bike trails at Gosford Forest Park using four wheeled, electric all terrain buggies.

MID & EAST ANTRIM INCLUSIVE BIKE SCHEME

Adapted bikes are available to book during June, July and August in Dixon Park, Larne and Shaftsbury Park, Carrickfergus.

CAUSEWAY COAST & GLENS INCLUSIVE CYCLING HIRE SCHEME

Inclusive hire scheme is available on Wednesday evenings 5.30pm – 8pm at Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre .

All Out Trekking

All Out Trekking at Gosford Forest Park, is an inclusive outdoor recreation programme using all terrain buggies, open to disabled and non-disabled people enabling inclusive participation in a beautiful parkland setting.
