NI Virtual Boccia League Online Challenge

The NI Virtual Boccia League Online Challenge will be running from Monday 18th January to Wednesday 31st March 2021, with a new round being released each month and medals being presented each month for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed in each league.

Participants can engage at any time during the competition and compete for the Overall Prize.  All the challenges are designed so that they can be completed individually (at home or in a school/sports hall), with whatever space and equipment you have available to you.  Throughout the competition Disability Sport NI will be offering suggestions on what equipment you can use and how to set up your challenges – there will be even be videos of staff and players completing the challenges at home.

FUN LEAGUE – Open to all individuals who wish to participate.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place will receive an NI Virtual Boccia League trophy.

SUPER LEAGUE – Open to anyone with a physical disability.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place will receive an NI Virtual Boccia League trophy.

PRIMARY SCHOOL LEAGUE – Open to teams of 3-4 pupils currently attending Primary School.  At least one pupil in the team must have a disability.
1st place will receive a set of boccia balls, and 2nd & 3rd places will receive an equipment pack.

SECONDARY SCHOOL LEAGUE – Open to teams of 3-4 pupils currently attending Secondary School.  At least one pupil in the team must have a disability.
1st place will receive a set of boccia balls, and 2nd & 3rd places will receive an equipment pack.

CLUB LEAGUE – Open to teams of 3-4 players from Boccia Clubs and community groups.  All players must have a disability, and at least one member of the team must have a physical disability.  If you don’t currently belong to a club, Disability Sport NI can assist you with trying to find a club to compete with.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place will receive NI Virtual Boccia League t-shirts for their club.
